I made a rag quilt for a freind's birthday. I'm pleased with it, but wonder if I should have put Xs in all the squares. I've had conflicting advice. At JoAnn Fabric I was told that since I have flannel in the middle layer, it won't shift...no need to quilt. I joined the Millington Quilt group last week. Some of the ladies had made rag quilts for charity, they thought the squares should be quilted. I ran out of fabric and had to go back to Ebay to buy some more coordinating fabric. That's why the top and bottom rows are a little different.
