Jeff met us at the Eaton display in the park on the corner of Woodward and 13 Mile. He had the use of a hydrogen powered car for the weekend, so he had driven it to the Cruise. He took us for a ride in the car down Woodward. The outside of the car was plain and looked like the Chevy Equinox, but a couple of cars pulled along side to ask about how it was powered. I guess there was a small emblem that indicated the car was a concept vehicle. During our ride we passed the U of M solar car. The driver must have been hot and cramped, the car didn't look too comfortable. After cruising for a few miles Jeff dropped us at our car. It was hot and we were very grateful not to have the long walk back to Birmingham.
