Favorite Sunflower

This is my favorite wall hanging. I made it a few years ago. After doing a lot of research on Mr. Google I designed the pattern myself.




The leaves are 3-D, with hand embroidered veins.




I used Joan Shay's book "Petal by Petal" to make the appli-bond flower petals.





I really like embellishing, so the center of the flower is beaded. I looked at pictures of sunflowers and tried to duplicate the center with a variety of beads.
