Package in the Mail

I don't knit or crochet but wanted a scarf to match my coat. My sister in law, Kathryn offered to knit one for me. Lucky me! I got to pick the yarn, one skein was variegated with mostly greens the other skein was a rust and fuzzy. The color in my photo is a little off, my coat is forest green.



Kathryn did a beautiful job. The scarf looks perfect with my coat.



Yesterday we exchanged Christmas quilt squares at quilt club. I received two beautiful squares to add to the ones I got last year. We sign the squares so I cover the signatures.



I figure in about 6 years I should have enough squares to make a very special Christmas quilt.
