I started a spring wallhanging in about April and finished about half of it. I think I will put it away until late next winter since I have a lot of other projects to do for fall and winter. I had a lot of scraps from the wallhanging border and decided to make a tablerunner out of them. The back side is made from some fabric Jenny used to make me a tote bag. She not only gave me the cute bag but all the extra fabric. She knows I love little critters----at least in pictures and fabric. I don't want any live mice, raccoons, etc in my house.

Grandmother's Garden Again
Earlier this summer, I made a quilted Grandmother's Garden picture for my sewing room. When I visited Jenny in June, we found a hand crafted vase at a resale shop. I thought it was cute and since it was only a dollar, I purchased it. I found some unique flowers with beads at Hobby Lobby to put in it. The vase sits on a button organizer near the picture.

Grandmother's Garden Coasters
Before going on vacation last week, I made some coasters for part of a couple of birthday presents. I like the Grandmother's Garden pattern but it takes a lot of hand work. I used copied photos for the center of the coaster. The green and blue coaster was quilted by machine the black one was quilted by hand; the rest of the sewing on both was done by hand.
