Winter Birds

A few years ago, Jenny made me this beautiful crewel picture. I enjoy putting it out in our family room during the winter months.

There are white birds flying between the trees in the snow.

We have been enjoying our birds in the snow. Below is one of my favorites, a chickadee.

One morning a small woodpecker was digging in the snow looking for breakfast.

The cardinals are very impressive but not too willing to pose for pictures.

My hand embroidery isn't very good so I really can appreciate something sweet like this artwork from Jenny. I saw a different bird out of my sewing room window yesterday. I didn't have my camera and I have no idea what kind of bird it was.
