Millington Quilt Club Meeting

The Millington Quilt Club met on Wednesday. We had a lot of nice quilts for Show 'n Tell.

Julie made this beautiful purple and teal quilt.

Julie also made this green quilts. The backs of her quilts were also pieced so they were reversible.

Mary Lou quilted the following quilt. The detail is amazing.

Marion showed us some of the squares she is going to use in a quilt she is working on.

Jeanann showed us two quilts a friend made for her. Jeanann is soon going to have new twin grandchildren.

Karen made this colorful flip flop quilt.

Darlene made this green and brown quilt as a present for her granddaughter's wedding later this month.

Darlene's granddaughter made this scrappy quilt when she was 16. Impressive!

This is Linda's first quilt. Nice job, a lot of sharp points for a beginner.

Linda has really gotten bit by the quilting bug. She also made this beautiful lighthouse quilt for her daughter.

Dianna made a bowtuck purse.

Kay made this colorful quilt for a friend's baby in Africa. The cute critters are made of minke.

Nancy made this quilt with family hand and foot prints on it.

Mary made this prayer wall hanging. She also made a beautiful red purse but I wasn't fast enough to get a good photo.

A big thanks to Linda for taking notes on the quilts while I took the photos.

Great posting! Thanks to you Mary for getting the good pictures. Our quilt group was sure busy over the summer. We have a lot of fun.

Really cute. Love show-n-tell. I think that is one of the joys of quilting, getting to share it with my pals and seeing what they do.
