Cabin Quilt

I made my brother, John and his wife, Faye a throw for Christmas. They have a cottage on the Bay and I thought a quilt would warm up the cool nights at their cabin.


I used a panel with bear scenes for the centers of my squares. I framed each with brown and blue fabric. A brown paisley fabric was used for sashing and borders.



I pieced the back of the quilt.



Julie from my quilt club quilted the throw for me. She did a beautiful job. Julies used a pattern with trees, bears and cabins, very appropriate :)
