Millington Quilt Club Show And Tell

Last Wednesday the Millington Quilt Club met for our Christmas meeting. We also enjoyed a potluck lunch, games and created two Christmas crafts. Great planning by the committee :)

During show and tell, Nancy showed us a cute snowman bag she made.

Karen is showing us the embroidery she did on her sweatsuit. The snowman on her pants matches the ones on the shirt.

Jan showed us crazy quilt Christmas stocking. She made them after our last meeting at which members showed us how to make them.

Jan made this wall hanging for her granddaughter who loves horses.

Viola made a lot of stocking for presents this Christmas.

Viola also made a deer attic window wall hanging.
She also showed us a mantle cover she made.

Peggy made a stack of aprons for Christmas presents.

Julie is modeling one of Peggy's aprons.

Peggy also made a beautiful quilted table cover.

In this photo, Peggy is showing us the back of the table cover so that we could see the quilting Julie had done on it. It may be hard to see in the picture but the quilting was gorgeous following a Christmas theme.

Mary Lou shared a Christmas quilt she quilted for a customer.

Julie machine embroidered her sweatshirt.

Below another Julies is showing us a pair of beautifully detailed Christmas stockings.

Julie also showed a machine embroidered Christmas quilt top she made. The fabrics may have been satin, very beautiful.

The club had a drawing for a quilt which club members had made. Linda was the very lucky winner! We were all jealous :)

Thanks to Dena for taking notes, while I took pictures at the meeting.
